The Main Den Site

◊ ● ◊ ● ◊ ● ◊ ● ◊ ● ◊

◊ ● ◊ ● ◊ ● ◊ ● ◊ ● ◊

Near the middle of the territory is the den site. There's one large burrow in the main part of the area then there's four smaller burrows that surround the main one. The main den is very large with a entry that three adult wolves could enter at the same time. The main den is made up of a few large rocks and a large tunnel that leads to the four chambers underground. The burrows are just simply dug into the ground with one little chamber.

-Elder Clearings-

Aurora looked around the area, making sure it was safe for her newly formed pack. Then, she stopped at the den entrance, and sat on the large rocks. "Here we are, new home sweet home." Aurora said in a cheery, happy and laid back tone, looking where the others should appear from in the bushes that surrounded the den site.

Chaos followed Aurora padding through more fresh grass and various vegetation. He soon came upon the large den, he sniffed around it and checked it out. The male's black-tipped tail swayed side to side. He confronted the pack Alpha, and bowed his head respectively. "If you'd excuse me my dear. I'm going into one of the chambers to rest, my energy is quite low." The brutes tone was as smooth as always, and sounded a bit sleepy too. Chaos tread deep within the burrow to a silent chamber. The russet colored frame hit the ground with a thud, and Chaos sprawled oout his limbs. 'Finally, a good place to rest.' He sighed happily.

Re: The Main Den Site

Post by Aurora on Thu Jul 18, 2013 4:57 am

Aurora nodded to Chaos as he crawled into the den. Aurora continued to sit on the tall rock, keeping a look out for the others, and any dangers. She started day dreaming again, thinking of the future. Who would become pairs, who would have pups, what the pups' names would be. And who would survive, though this place was pretty much perfect, prime territory, there would always be wolves who'd want it, the dangers of hunting, and even sicknesses. A wild wolf's life is not a easy ride, but this pack had each other, and the world they live in. This first day had been a great adventure for the newly formed pack, but Aurora knew that their journey had only just begun...

Vertrou trotted over to the den quickly. He bent down and peered inside. Dirt covered the ground and he could see chambers inside that could fit wolves possibly much larger then himself. He shifted his glance up to Aurora and gave her a smile, "Thank you, for... well letting us become a pack... all of us." he then looked back down into the darkness and crawled inside until he finally flopped down into one of the chambers and placed his head onto his front paws, staring out into the open.

Finally, Fenrir arrived at the main den, as expected Aurora was already there but he didnt saw the others, maybe they were already in the den. The Grey brute went to the den, he passed by Aurora but said nothing, just nodded with a slight smile, he was too sleepy to speak now, his voice would probably sound like a bear, he went into the den, his head bumped against the low entrance, growling he layed down his piece of meat and literally *fell* into sleep, not even in a chamber, just in the middle of this cave.

Aurora nodded as Vertrou walked by, she smiled at his remark. She watched as the large, grey male known as Fenrir came out of the bushes. She nodded to him as well, while he passed by. Aurora leaped off of her rock and carried the big bison leg she had taken from the carcass to a tree near by. There, she dug and hole and placed the leg in it, then she covered it over. She shook off the bits of dirt from her pelt, mainly her legs, Aurora never liked the feeling of being dirty... Okay maybe she liked to roll in grass and sometimes in mud but unless she felt like it, she hated being dirty.

The creamy, golden-ish, with grey she-wolf leaped back onto her tall rock, and watched for the rest of the pack. She almost jumped from surprise from the sudden thud in the den. She couldn't help but look in the den. She was surprised to see Fenrir laying in the middle of cave-like den. Then, she returned to her post, where she looked at the sun and kept an eye out for the rest of the pack.

Post by Diesel on Thu Jul 18, 2013 4:58 pm

As the ebony male exited the clearings, he saw the large den. Outside sat Aurora upon a rock, Diesel padded up and bowed his head respectfully and continued into the den. There before him, stretched out near the entry was a large grey wolf. Diesel slowly weaved around Fenrir's sleeping body, and huddled into an empty den. He cirlced around in the wide chamber and curled into a ball. The he-wolf's nares filled with scents, he noticed Chaos and Vertrou were also in the den somewhere. The shade covered candid wrapped his long-furred tail around his face and fell into a deep sleep.

Post by Ominous on Thu Jul 18, 2013 5:12 pm

Ominous bound into the area which contains the pack's den. She noticed the cream-golden she wolf sitting atop a rock beside the entry. The female canine walked up the aurora and lied down before her, and lowered her head. She respected the leader greatly, "Thank you for letting us stay, and letting us sleep in this den, Aurora." The candid's voice was sweet and respectful, Ominous rose her petite silver frame and head into the burrow. Upon entering she was surprised to see a large male lying there asleep, Ominius smiled and maneuvered her sly frame over the brute. She sniffed around and found all four sleeping chambers taken, one by Chaos. She weaseled into the slot with her brother and coiled her body into a ball beside her large kin. A smile formed, it reminded her of her life before. Ominous fell asleep happily.

Post by Willow on Thu Jul 18, 2013 5:32 pm

As the swift fae entered the grounds, she slowed down to a steady pace. As she pranced up to the leader she-wolf, Ominous was entering the den opening. Willow confronted the large alpha and sat before her, her poofed tail coiled around her flank. The brown-caramel coated candid sunk her head low, greeting her new leader and family member. "Thank you for everything, Aurora. I'm looking forward to living with you, and the whole pack." Willow's slighty low shy voice was calm and flowed from her easily. It became easier for Willow to have a conversation with the members. She felt safe with them. The femme-wolf smiled and walked near the burrow. "Are you coming in too, Aurora?" The candid questioned, tilting her head. Then she tread into the cozy den. Fenrir was covering most of the main area. Willow lightly stepped over him and walked into a chamber. She formed a tight little ball position, however, her back was touching something, it wasn't the burrows dirt wall, it was...fur? The sleepy worn creature has wandered into Vertrou's slot, and has fallen alseep without even realizing the large wolf was there first.

The rusty-coppered brute awoke as he felt his sister crawl beside him, he smiled happily and lied his haed back onto his paws. Chaos' russet ears went back as he yawned, and his nares filled with swirling aromas of pack members. 'Willow, Ominous, Fenrir, Vertrou, Deisel... Where's the other three?' Chaos pondered the thought for a moment, then fell back asleep. His ears flicked while he slumbered. His rich russet tail coiled around his side, while the large brute dreamed.

Re: The Main Den Site

Post by Chaos on Thu Jul 18, 2013 8:25 pm

Chaos was soon awoken, by what? Well he wasn't sure, maybe just because he knew not all members where there. The large masculine-wolf pulled his frame to his feet, and headed from the chamber where his kin lies. As Chaos was on his way out, he faced an obstacle, Fenrir's large body sprawled out in the main area of the burrow. He was fast asleep, Chaos stepped his large paws around and over the resting creature. As he exited, the male jumped atop the den. He sat there looking about the land, Chaos chest rumbled lightly. 'Hmm? Where is Night and Dream?' The large brute rose his muzzle up and released the rumble in his chest into a charming howling tune. He called to the wolves, and just howled because he loved to. Chaos' deep smooth song was calm so the others would not awake, quite a soothing sound actually. Once he stopped he looked around and remembered Aurora was near, he looked at her. "I'm sorry, I forgot you were still awake."

Aurora nodded to the wolves as they entered the den, one by one. When the new dark pelted wold entered, she even smiled and said, "glad you choose to join us." Aurora's tailed wagged while she greeted the others to the den, including Ominous and Willow, whom seemed extremely grateful.

As time passed by, Aurora noticed Night sleeping outside. She didn't question it, sometimes one needs and desires to be alone for a little. The creamy golden-ish she-wolf's ears perked at a deep, low yet quiet howl. Aurora looked behind her to see Chaos on top of the den. "I think I'll keep guard for a little while; I'll get some sleep later," she answered his question, then gave a low, quiet howl as well, lifting her creamy muzzle into the navy sky.

The russet wolf perked his ears up as he heard the fae release her own tune. Howling is one of Chaos' favorite things to do. He smiled as she sung her song then hopped down from atop the den. Walking beside the she-wolf. His eyes gazed around the area, taking a deep breath of the crisp are. He swayed easily onto his haunches. His ear twitched, making Chaos shake his head, he then looked back at Aurora. "Quite an interesting group we've got here, don't cha' think?" the brute spoke as he nodded to the den where the other members lie.

Aurora chuckled, "indeed, but a good bunch. Some a bit shy or rough around the edges, but there's good in them." She answered, then added, "I have a good feeling about this pack, they'll do great things." The creamy golden-ish she-wolf took a sniff of fresh air, smelling the forest's scents. This really was the perfect territory after all, and maybe, the perfect pack to go with it...

Chaos smiled at the females remark, she was right. All the wolves in the group need to open up a bit more if they planned to be a family. He yawned widely, still a bit asleep from his recent nap. He soon shifted his gaze towards Aurora, Chaos enjoyed spending time with Aurora, he was glad to have a friend again. "Pretty soon we'll be a fully functioning pack... what a great thought." The brute chuckled lightly, if this pack doesn't crumble like his one before, then his future is bright. He could have a mate, maybe some pups, and a happy life. The he-wolf looks forward to his life with the pack.

Here goes nothin'!

Post by Genesis on Fri Jul 19, 2013 3:26 am

The young femme awoke with yet only one eye open. What, or who was making that noise? Genesis then resumed by opening both of her azure eyes, and stretching her small fluffy body until satisfied. The pup squeezed through a tiny opening from the den's smallest chamber, the entrance and exit only being the size fit for a hare, or a young pup like herself, and she leaped to the ground with a chuff. They must of not seen, or noticed her being here. It was surely more than 1 stranger, and Gen was curious to find out exactly what's going on.

"Yep," Aurora said, informally, she was more laid back at this hour. Mostly because she was fairly tired. The creamy golden-ish she-wolf's ears perked at a a chuffing noise. "What was that?" She asked looking behind her. 'Hmm...' She leaped off of her rock once more and checked the back of the den, seeing a young ten week old pup, with a tan pelt and light blue eyes. Aurora was fairly surprised to see a pup of that age, alone. "Hello little one, where did you come from?" Aurora asked, tilting her head.

Genny was slightly alarmed as an adult female approached her inside the den. She didn't have enough time to climb and squeeze back in her little hole, and if she did so now, they would know where she's hiding. The pup shuffled her front paws, feeling as if she had to go potty, but instead, Genesis relaxed herself and toughened up. "I...I came from, nowhere." She said biting her lip. 'I gotta be honest..!' the young femme then told herself. "Alright, I came from that opening.." she said and motioned towards the little hole besides her, and then added more, "I live here, ma'am. B-But, who are you?" the pup asked curiously. The inner Genesis was revealing herself, but she wanted to know more. More about everything, and this female. Maybe she knows about Gen's mother, or maybe not. Whatever it is, the pup needed some real information to hang onto.

Aurora tilted her head again, "and you are, dear?" The older she-wolf lowered her head and sat on the ground to make herself look less hostile. 'Hmm...'

Genesis examined the female's posture and expressions. Her fuzzy head wobbled, and she licked around her muzzle with her tiny rosy tongue. "G-Genesis. My name is Genesis. the young femme said and gave a nod. She smiled in awe at the female's name, it was unique and pleasant-sounding. Genny then grinned slightly, "Nice to meet you, 'Rora." she yipped. The pup couldn't pronounce her name, so she ditched the two first letters and produced that nickname instead. It was a Genesis type of thing.~
The young Timber took a few small steps forward and poked her head behind Aurora, attempting to see if there was anyone else behind her. The pup dragged her bright azure gaze back on the older female, "Are...Is there more wolves out there, 'Rora?" she asked innocently with her Canadian accent. One day, she'll get Aurora's name right, but for now, she wanted to know if the rest were friendly like her.

Chaos was lost in a gaze, thinking about his possible future. He jumped slightly hearing Aurora speak, yet not seeing anyone there. He trotted slowly over and bent his head around the den corner, he finally saw. Aurora was hunched over conversing with a pup. 'A pup, but... she's so little, where's her mother? I don't smell any others around?' Although he wondered where she came from he was very excited. He lied down and did a sort of army-crawl, and went beside Aurora. His tail up and swaying. He stuck his muzzle towards her a little bit and sniffed her. He made a confused growling-whining type sound and tilted his head. "And who are you? I'm Chaos." The brute voice was as warm and smooth as ever. Chaos' optics glided around the small candid, his eye were bright and welcoming. His tail continued to sway as he waited for her to speak.
