Nobody knows how or where this hill came from, all we know is that it's a great place to star gaze, watch the clouds or let the pups roll down the hill!

The Lone Hill Empty Re: The Lone Hill

Post by Ominous Fri Jul 26, 2013 8:51 pm

Ominous soon entered a large open area with one single hill in the center, the femme-wolf raced up the hill. Her razor like talons dug into the slippery mud, making it easier for her to climb up it. Upon reaching the hill's apex, the female's deep cerulean eyes reflected each bolt of lightening. Ominous rested her rump on the drenched emerald vegetation, her ears sunk low as she looked around the empty area. The she-wolf looked up to the ashy-shaded clouds and felt the rain slowly seep into her coat. "The rain feels so much like the waterfall, dripping into your pelt as you walk out from the den... Apache used to love that feeling, we'd play in storms and tumble near the cascade. Mm and Dad loved them too. I wonder if they're still bounding around in storms somewhere." Ominous whispered to herself, and whined a bit as she thought of her family.

She rose her silver colored muzzle up into the air, and slowly shut her cerulean optics. As a large flash of lightening struck, the damsel let her vocals release a tantalizing howl. I roamed over the valley south of the den site, as she lowered her head, she let her orbs open. The dame coiled her tail around her and flattened her ears lower, she was happy about the rain, but she missed her deceased family members. She looked around once more, she could just barely imagine herself as a young pup playing with Apache, with their perants watching them. The small damsel lied down as the rain pelted her, she shut her eyes and let vivd images play through her mind.

The Lone Hill Empty Re: The Lone Hill

Post by Fenrir Sun Jul 28, 2013 1:57 pm

After a few minutes the scent led Fenrir to this huge hill, this one looked a bit weird but he didnt mind, Ominous wasnt arround here so the only place she could be was on the top of the hill. The brute made his way up the hill, quiet and slow. As he expected, the silvery fae was up there, laid down. Fenrir went next to her and sat down, it looked like she didnt noticed him yet. Fenrir gazed to Ominous and smiled that everything was allright, he looked up in the sky, the rain dropping on his face, he let out a heavy sigh and said with a calm but deep tone, "Wonderful weather, isnt it?" he gazed arround, saw nothing but rain and flashes, then added, "I think many of us have good or bad thoughts in such a storm... or did good or bad things." the strong wind blowed against Fenrir and through his rough fur, he smiled and thought about nothing right now.

The Lone Hill Empty Re: The Lone Hill

Post by Ominous Mon Jul 29, 2013 1:54 am

Ominous' silver coated ears switly darted up as she heard someone speaking, it was Fenrir's voice. The silver she-wolf slowly opened her cerulean eyes, her gazed moved side to side trying to see where he was. A large figure was visiblein the corner of her eye, it was the shadey pelted he-wolf. Ominous did not look directly at the male, she focused her sight ahead of her towards the plains being covered with rain. She recalled what he had said, and began to speak herself. "There's just something about the rain that's soothing, yet also very dark. Stirring up memories, emotions, thoughts, dreams, wishes... It seems uncontrollable." She then released a low sigh, lifting up her head from her small paws. Ominous then shuffled up her whole frame, and looked over her should. Her cerulean colored optics peered at Fenrir, then she once more looked at the roaring storm. She took a deep breath, and as she exhaled her small muzzle rose gracefully into the bleak cloudy sky. Her vocals released an elegant and beautiful howling tune into the raining land, it just barely echoed. The femme-wolf's song was peaceful, her muzzle slowly came back down and she smiled just a bit.

The Lone Hill Empty Re: The Lone Hill

Post by Fenrir Mon Jul 29, 2013 10:56 am

Fenrir noticed the rain was getting stronger and the wind too, the grey brute had a rough fur it didnt looked like that ominous had one too. He came closer to ominous and sat down right next to her, "I hope you still have good thoughts... mine? i think i never had them." he said with a deep tone but smiled, he listened to the howl of the silvery fae, it was peaceful and let Fenrir calm down a bit, the enormous brute let out a strong howl, like a thunder but not peaceful at all, his thoughts came back and he gazed angry to the sky, he heard another howl, far away but he could swear it was one of the members. Fenrir gazed back at Ominous and added, "We should go now, the storm is getting stronger and colder too, wouldnt be good if we get a cold now." he said serious and shuffled up his body, waiting for Ominous to go.

The Lone Hill Empty Re: The Lone Hill

Post by Ominous Mon Jul 29, 2013 11:52 pm

Ominous sat there for a moment, were her thought bad or good? She let her cerulean gaze stare blankly ahead of the duo, and into the powerful storm. The fierce gusts of wind swirled around her and the rain viciously pelted her small frame, but she didn't seem phased by it. 'Do I have good or bad thoughts? Maybe it depends how you look at it...' The sleek silver coated femme-wolf allowed her thoughts to wander, and she did not move. Suddenly her small alert ears twitched hearing a piercing howl, it was Aurora calling the clan back home. "Yeah, lets head home." The she-wolf turned towards the large grey creature, and nodded. Instantly the small vixen like female burst into a swift sprint, her lean legs look like a sliver blurry cloud flying on the ground. Ominous pressed off the soaked earth elegantly but powerful to, she darted down the hill and off into the distance towards home.

The large brute smiled at the silvery fae as she ran down the hill and that incredible fast, Fenrir gazed in the sky once more and followed Ominous back to the den, atleast he tried to. The storm was getting stronger but the dark grey male was more worried about the pack, back at the den, maybe something happend.

As ominous reached the hill, she dug her digits into the slippery muddy sides and began to head to the top. She growled lowly as she walked, Ominous began to slow down. All the running shes been doing wore her out a bit, but then the sleek damsel looked up to the top and could see someone there. It was Apache, Ominous had imagined her young sibling, which made her push herself to the top. Upon getting to the apex, the young pup was gone. She looked up at the bleak sky, "Where are you brother? Are you happy now? Do you wish you were still here?... What's it like..." Ominous whispered the questions to the clouds as rain pelted her, she released a growling like howl to warn others not to come near here. After, she turned away and rose her muzzle once more. Her vocals releaseing a mourning sad song, she just wanted Apache back. The femme-wolf lied down, with her ears flat and tail coiled around her she lied on the lone hill.

The Lone Hill Empty Re: The Lone Hill

Post by Chaos Thu Aug 01, 2013 4:35 pm

Chaos soon entered an area with no trees or bushes, just one large mound. He walked up to the hill, and with a deep breath he lifted his large wide paws and began to tread to the top. The masculine creature tried to not make mush noise, the rain helped hid his sounds. Upon reaching the point where Ominous sits before him, he smiled and sat beside her. His emerald gaze was locked on the storm before them, the slanting rain and flashing bolts. Not once did the he-wolf look at his sister, yet he spoke. "How's Apache?" He knew that's why she had run off, not only did Ominous lose a brother, but so did Chaos. Ever since his sister was a young pup, she'd run to a hill top and speak with their deceased brother. "Ominous... You know I miss him just as much as you do." His voice was no loonger smooth and welcoming as always, it was depressed and shallow. He took a deep breath and released his own mournful song into the sky. "I hope you guys are happy, at least you have each other." The large brute said lowly as he loocked up into the sky. His mother, Father, and Apache had passed away around the same time. Chaos sat there beside his little sister, both staring at the sky thinking of their family.

Color Change.
Chaos looked around, soon seeing the rain before him vanish. Small rays of light peered out from the grey cloud that slowly turned white, the large russet he-wolf took that as a sign his dear young brother was happy and sife in his new life. He looked beside him as his sister, one of Apache's litter mates. Chaos smiled happily at Ominous with a fanning tail of joy, their brother may be gone but atleast their other siblings are alive, well, and traveling to their own future homes. The large arctic-cross gazed upon the land that was now soaked and flooded from the rain, helping the vegetation grow. His ears wher eup and alert, hearing the birds chiro and sing as they flew in the newly clear sky. Chaos sighed happily then soon heard a howl calling he and his sister back home, he truned and ran down the hill. Stopping at the botton and looking behind him as his sister, he smiled and knew she would soon follow him, so he continued on to the den. The sweet calm song of the alphess calling him closer, he swiftly darted to the field.

The Lone Hill Empty Re: The Lone Hill

Post by Ominous Sat Aug 17, 2013 12:09 am

Ominous gazed around the land, hearing a howl caling her and her kin back. She glanced over her shoulder as Chaos fled home, then returned her cerulean eyes to the land a head of her; away from the territory. Ominous was in a hypnotized state of mind as she stared off, her instincts began to speak to her. But what where they saying? Ominous soon heard a faint voice that sounded so familiar. "Ominous, this is your brother's pack. You must continue on, find your own home." The young tantalizing female heard the fiant sound, but saw no one near. It sounded like...like, Apache. "Apache? But that's impossible... y-you're dea- gone..." Ominous voice was not smooth and sweet as always, it was shocked and unsure. Her alert ears pressed forward, seeing if Apache, or someone will reply. "Ominous my dear big sister, I may be gone physically. But you know I'm in your heart, Chaos' heart too. I truely believe you should find new land. Leave our brother, and grow on your own. Return an adult and show him how well you handle yourself." There was no doubt, it was Apache, and he was right. Ominous smiled slightly and a small tear rolled down her cheek leaving a darker colored grey streak. She nodded to her deceased brothers voice, it sounded like Apache, just older. Soon before her eyes, a faint figure arrpeared near her, it was her brother, now fully grown. Ominous was speechless, and cried heavily, nuzzling her brother she hasn't seen for almost her entire life. She looked behind her towards the den, then to her brother. With shaking legs, Ominous stood up and howled a song. It was to say goodbye to her fellow pack mates, and Apache joined in. A song of leaving, saddness, and joy flowed through the land, a deep and charming tune from Apache and a sweet soothing tune from Ominous. The two then raced down the hill and off in the distance, never the be seen again.
